Breeding Cows

1. Plug in thaw bath prior to breeding.

2. Lock cow up in headlocks

3. Keep semen canister as low in tank as possible during semen removal

4. Thaw semen in 95 degrees F water bath for 1 minute

5. Clean vulva with a dry paper towel

6. Gently insert inseminating gun into tract and deposit semen in the uterus

Entering an insemination in Horizon

1. Click the + sign.

2. Click the insemination box.

3. Type in cow(s) number

4. Select sire.

5. Click apply changes.
