Here is a short tip on saving a broken X-Cylinder. Inspecting the cow shield for damage can save a service call. The Cow Shield has two plates for mounting that supplies strength to the shield. If the rivets or bolts go missing the mount can fall out. This leaves the cow shield able to move a lot. If it moves too much it can break off the rear air fitting and it’s tough to repair.
